Jonathan Toth from Hoth founded The Frozen Food Section in 1999. His vision was to form a record label that would create the most precedent setting, cutting-edge music of his time. His first release, "Brainwashing: The Art of Hiphopera" (by J-Toth) came out in 2002 as a very underground sounding hip hop space oddysey written within a moral tale of Good vs. evil. It was well received on the College Music Journal charts across the U.S. and Canada, landing spots on Top 10 lists from Pamona, CA to Raleigh, NC. All reviews were positive (check the website under "reviews" for more details). 

Since then, The Frozen Food Section has released Serengeti (alternative hip hop), Tucker Booth (rap/rock), Rob Getzschman (indie rock) and the latest, "The Lovecycle" his follow-up album, where he got to collaborate with MF DOOM on the underground smash "Ghostwhirl" (reviewed by URB Magazine and given 5 out of 5 stars). Jonathan is now finding major distribution all over the world for this music, and seeking more.
